Owners Jane and Louie both come from a long line of farmers and grew up helping their family businesses. From a young age, they found a deep passion in the work they did. Once they found one another they began their own business. In 1993 they started farming in Oakville, building what was once 'Oakville Farm Fresh Harvest', and is known today as Oakville Harvest.

On Christmas Eve 2009, Jane and Louie started their roadside stall out the front of their farm, allowing locals to stop by and pick up their fresh produce. This stall is still in action today, 12 years later, running bigger and better than ever.

Much like Jane and Louie, their own children Jordan and Alysse fell in love with the farm life and both decided to follow in their ancestors footsteps and join the family farming business. Jane's favourite story of her son is when he first left school, she encouraged him to get out into the world and get a trade, to give him the opportunity to start on his own path. In 2013, after some time in trade work Jordan realised he didn't have the same love and devotion in that work as he did on the farm. In no time at all, Jordan was back home full time helping the family to produce and supply their fresh, high-quality fruit and vegetables to the community.
