Ingredients
Olive oil Cooking Spray
4 x 125g Minute Porterhouse or Sirloin Steaks, Trimmed
2 Tbs Thyme
1 Tbs Dijon Mustard
½ Cup Caramelized Onion
2 Bunches Broccolini
2 tbs All-purpose seasoning
¼ Cup Chipotle Mayonnaise
1 Lime, juiced
Preparation
Method:
Place the broccolini onto a tray. Lightly spray with oil. Sprinkle with the all-purpose seasoning, turning to coat all over.
Place the broccolini in the air fryer. Cook in batches on 180 degrees, for 8 minutes or all together on 200 degrees, for 12 minutes. Remove to a plate.Â
Combine the chipotle mayonnaise and lime juice.
Spray both sides of the steaks with olive oil, sprinkle over the thyme and season.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over high heat until hot. Cook the minut4e steaks for 1 minute on each side. Remove to a plate. Spread 1 teaspoon of mustard over each steak. Cover and set aside to stand for 1 minute.Â
Divide the Broccolini and steaks between serving plates. Spoon the caramelized onions over the steaks. Spoon the chipotle mayonnaise over the broccolini.Â
Serve
Tips:
Caramelized Onions can be purchased from the store or you can make your own. Peel and thinly slice 4 large brown or red onions. Place into a frying pan with 3 teaspoons olive oil and 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes. Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add 1 tablespoon brown sugar, maple syrup or honey, increase heat to medium and cook until light golden.
